for Matt

Rache has been doing quite a bit of thinking since the last time he saw Matt; it was more productive than he expected. On the other hand, it left him unable to go any further without first talking to Matt again.

Which brings him to his seat at the bar tonight. No drink, no food; he's a little busy watching the room at the moment, but maybe later.

He doesn't try at all to hold back his smile.

Matt kisses him, slow at first but getting harder as he gains assurance.

Rache kisses back with equal fervor, his fingertips curling against Matt's skin.

[semicharmed]

Matt bites at his lip now, then sucks.

He pushes towards Rache's body, craving contact, but it's not quite as insistent as he might be-- still mostly an arch of his spine.

[tohearthesound]

Rache twists toward him, rolling onto his side and using the hand on Matt's back to pull him a little closer.

(Matt isn't the only one who craves contact.)

[semicharmed]

Matt is more than happy to let himself be pulled.

He gasps in a breath and kisses Rache again, one hand sliding around the back of his neck.

He arches into the touch before crushing his mouth back to Matt's.

He has missed this like air in his lungs. One of his legs hooks over Matt's at the ankle.

[semicharmed]

"Umm."

Matt's appreciative noise is very nearly a moan.

His legs shift, the better to tangle with Rache's, and his fingers knead at the back of his neck.

Rache groans, melting against Matt.

That feels extremely good. (He might mumble something to that effect.)

[semicharmed]

Matt is not particularly adept at verbalizing right now either.

But he feels his body respond to Rache's, pressing closer, and his fingers continue to dig into the muscles of his neck.

Rache nuzzles against Matt's jaw, letting his teeth drag occasionally over skin.

[semicharmed]

"'Snice," he murmurs, the word nice dragging out.

His fingers move up into his hair, then slide slowly back down his neck.

[tohearthesound]

Rache's laugh is a rumble in his throat, felt more than heard.

His mouth scrapes close to Matt's ear. "Yeah?"

[semicharmed]

He laughs too, head tilting ticklishly; his own laugh is breathy and contented.

"Yeah," he agrees.

His hand drifts down and starts to knead at Rache's shoulder.

[tohearthesound]

He groans again in pleasure, right about the time his teeth close on Matt's earlobe.

[semicharmed]

He stops, fingers gripping Rache's shoulder.

"Ah--"

[tohearthesound]

Rache stills, lets go, soothing the mark with his tongue.

"All right?"

[semicharmed]

"Yes," Matt replies instantly.

"Yes-- that was a good noise. Really good."

His fingers drift between Rache's shoulder blades.

[tohearthesound]

Rache grins.

"Okay, then."

He licks teasingly around the curve of Matt's ear.

[semicharmed]

Matt shivers, fingers digging into the muscles on either side of Rache's spine.

Note to self: Offer to give him an actual massage at some point.

[tohearthesound]

He moans faintly.

"That's nice, too," he feels obligated to point out.

[semicharmed]

"Sometime," Matt murmurs lazily, "I'll do it for real. Both hands, more time."

He kind of wants to read up on massages first, or find an online tutorial or something.

[tohearthesound]

"For real?" Rache echoes, a little muzzily.

[semicharmed]

"This ..."

Matt's fingers knead down, still on either side of his spine.

"Is a whole practice, back on my world. People use it to relieve tension, sometimes for physical therapy and sometimes ... just because it feels good. I am, at best, an amateur."

[tohearthesound]

"Oh."

The word is nearly swallowed by a fresh groan.

"You're an excellent amateur."

[semicharmed]

"I try," Matt assures him, "really hard."



(He really does want to tell him.

How patient does he have to be before it's patient enough?)
